“They are gradually updating the old girl and it looks great. The employees are lovely, wonderful customer service. The rooms are very clean, although they could use new pillows. The windows are VERY drafty on some floors, it's loud like an old horror movie. The elevator is also a little suspicious. It would be really nice if the diner was open for dinner. They make great breakfasts. There are pizza places and such nearby, though. That said, I plan to book again. ”

“I have stayed in this hotel 4 times. It’s the best choice if you wanna explore Duluth and the north shore. It’s a good price, clean, great breakfast and wonderful sauna and pool. Also the beds are sooo comfortable! Recommend staying here 10/10 ”

“We absolutely loved our time in the Sunset cabin and would definitely stay again. Had some trouble getting ahold of the host but it didn't impede our stay. The cabin was the perfect size for my partner and I, and the fireplace made it so cozy. The kitchenette was great too.We did end up going out to get our own dish soap, as dish water is dumped outside and the one stocked is Dawn which doesn’t biodegrade. It would be great if Camp Amnicon could use another type of soap like Mrs. Meyer's - which...

“I love staying at Camp Amnicon! It is the quiet and solitude I need as I live in a hectic city with a hectic life. Quietude was a great cabin and I will be back for sure. The amenities are just right and I like that I don't have to bring much! The South shore area of Superior is beautiful and not offers a calm and just the right kind of disconnect. “Great service and house overall. The VRBO was nice and tidy. Kuddos to the decor all around, especially on the kitchen wall. The chalk board was a nice touch too! (My kiddo loved it.) The lauout of the house was nice and the internet was great. Heat thermostat worked good (since its been getting colder - Mid Oct now) Perfect for our little family of three. It's a nice little house only things is sometimes the kitchen felt a little cramped. Another thing too is the water coming out of the kitchen...
