“Although it could use some repairs in our room had some issues with water temperature, this is an absolutely charming and lovely Art Deco building. The staff is absolutely excellent and responsive. Comfortable and clean rooms. Fantastic location. Nice and quiet at night, and the cleaning staff is sent after guest check out, so no awkward knocks from the cleaning staff. Generous check out time. Will definitely be going again. Also, extremely LGBTQIA+ friendly. I felt very safe.”

“Check in was easy, the kid at the desk was really sweet. Our cabin was clean and cozy. Though it was cold and rainy it was nice and toasty inside and the large covered porch had a grill where we made a fire. We didn’t even have to treck to the bathrooms at night cause there was a pretty clean port-a-potty at the end of our drive. Over all lovely stay and we’d like to stay again :)”

“There was suppose to be free breakfast. Saturday there was just coffee, Sunday there was coffee and granola bars. Lights were all off in the breakfast area at 7 am. No one was around until 8am.”

“We absolutely loved our time in the Sunset cabin and would definitely stay again. Had some trouble getting ahold of the host but it didn't impede our stay. The cabin was the perfect size for my partner and I, and the fireplace made it so cozy. The kitchenette was great too.We did end up going out to get our own dish soap, as dish water is dumped outside and the one stocked is Dawn which doesn’t biodegrade. It would be great if Camp Amnicon could use another type of soap like Mrs. Meyer's - which...

“Very welcoming and clean property”

“Our family stayed at this location for our family Christmas. The property worked out perfectly for us. Well stocked board game area. Comfortable and large living room. Well stocked kitchen. The 3rd bedroom is a “trundle” type bed in a converted office…good for kids, not so much for a couple. The host responded to our few questions quickly and even sent someone to resolve a small issue with sidewalk salt. Will likely stay here again as our son will be living in Duluth for a while yet. ”
